WillB has been working on a new site to promote the Fat Tire Festival…it is really coming along nicely!!! Look for the return of the Kid’s skinny contest sponsored by Til We Dye. For those of you who don’t know Til We Dye… it’s a tie dye, bleaching, and cut&sew clothing company owned by myself. Last couple years the festival has been really good…hard work and fresh minds can accomplish tons…looking forward to this year’s!!!

Thanks for the plug Kenny. Hopefully the site will be live shortly. As of now we have Mullet Cycles, Specialized, Santa Cruz, Niner, and Growler bikes showing with bikes. More to come.

Please know that the CLIMB FTF organizers are aware of and actively monitoring the rapidly changing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. We will be following the protocols set forth by Suffolk County, which are derived from the Center for Disease Control, World Health Organization, the US State Department, and the New York Department of Public Health. We at CLIMB will continue to monitor the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and communicate any updates we received to ensure we prioritize the well being and safety of riders, volunteers, and their families.

At this time, we at CLIMB will move forward with The Muddy Tire & FTF recommending common-sense safety measures. We understand athletes and attendees will use their own discretion with regard to what is best for them and their families.

For now the event is still on unless the county cancels group events at the last minute. Head over to the CLIMB site and click the FTF home tab and pre-register for the FTF.

There will be demo bikes to try, a pump track and skills classes. We will have food trucks to curb your trail side appetite. Come early on Saturday to set up camp and enjoy a bonfire, night rides and more. Group rides galore on Sunday along with skills clinics and lots of exhibitors.

If you pre-register you will get a raffle ticket with your receipt from BikeReg for the the prizes that will be given on Sunday. The catch is you need to be present at the time raffles are called off.

what day is the race

Saturday 10/17. I am also having a bonfire and night ride following and hoping to have the expo area up and running during the race for people to tool around on some demos
