So my 10 yo outgrew his Cannondale Trail 20 way too fast. Instead of plunking down for a 24" he won’t fit in next year, I managed to piece together the old Marin East Peak 26" for him. The seat is all the way down but it just fits. The upshot is that all I need to buy is new grips, he can beat the crap out of this bike, and it’s way better than any bike I could get him for under $1k.
