Every place has one and it’s difficult to say who’s the “best” without going to all of them, so how about we just talk about your local bike shop and maybe why you like it.
Here’s the one closest to me and it’s a great shop with a nice selection of bikes, gear and a repair/tuning shop:
Well. I go to peak Mtb I love them they are great when u go in thier. They treate u like family Jerry Kenny. They will never rip u off u buy a bike from them u get life time ajustments that’s hard to pass lol plus they all ride. What I love about the place. Is I never have to leave my bike unless they have to order a part. .
I have been using Twin Forks in Riverhead. Its a long drive for me, But I trust them. They are not full of themselves and the prices are good.
Nick is filled with a ton of Knowledge and Joe is without a doubt one of the best if not the best Bike Tech on Long Island. His specialty is wheels…best I have seen
