I’m looking at camera gear for get video of kids sports (I do have a Sony A6000) and trail video.
I was looking at either a GoPro or the Garmin Virb XE. The Garmin has built-in image stabilization and the mic is supposed to be great with wind noise. Some of the reviews call out the Garmin for soft video and data that is not quite so accurate. There’s also the TomTom Bandit that really nails battery life and mobile integration but (there’s always a but…) while it has GPS it doesn’t do it nearly as well as the Garmin.
Anybody have experience with any of these? I’d love to see some video you’ve shot on the trail.
